Thanks for interest in our product.

Currently, there are many inquiries about installation outside of SoCal, we are considering to lower the installation cost as much as possible, or extending the event period in the same condition. However, the benefit of pre-order is available only for customers who have completed the pre-order deposit($9) before the end of the event period regardless of the installation date. You can cancel the pre-order($9) any time, but the pre-order benfits only go to those who have applied within the period, so if you're interested, you can definitely apply in advance and consider about it. thanks for the reply -- so just to clarify - this will work on a QX30 that has an actual LCD screen with backup camera but no NAV? I am in the Houston area and my installer (from your site) would be "Texas Auto Trim" - any idea of install cost???

Hello there,

Yes, we are compatible with 2017 - 2019 QX30 with a touch LCD screen(the backup camera and Navigation detail doesn't really matter).

As for the installation cost, we are in the works of getting a flat-rate installation cost set up with our dealers(auto shops). What I can tell you now is auto shops charge anywhere between $150 - $300/hr, which is the installation cost you can expect.

Are we able to play videos while the car is in drive?
Our product retains all of your current OEM features and adds the Android Auto/Apple CarPlay(just like the 2020+ models).

Viewing videos while driving is prohibited based on local laws.

I just want to point out for visitors to this forum that there is no 2020 QX30. The QX30 was discontinued after the 2019 model year. No QX30 has ever offered Android Auto or Apple Carplay from the factory.

Finally! I was the one who first spotted this amazing product on Google and has been having emails back and forth with Korean and US representatives. I'm glad they are doing this pre-order thing for people with interest. I was not interested in the option where you need to completely replace the current infotainment system; I just wanted some easy and clean way to add Apple Carplay. This seemed like the right one I was looking for.

I live in San Francisco, CA. Any chance you guys could send an engineer here for installation?

We are considering visiting certain metropolitan areas around the US if there's enough demand. For San Francisco, at the moment, we don't have any plan on visiting.. sorry about that!

I'm located in Houston, TX and I'm in the process of ordering this product for my 2017 Inifniti QX30. When I go to check out there's an option for 'Will Call'. Should I choose that option or click the $15 shipping method? I'm wanting to bring the navigation system to Texas Auto Trim. Please advise - thank you!

Hello there, Thanks for placing the order with us!

Unavi was looking into some partnerships with shops across the U.S., but this process was causing delays in launching our new product..:/. So for non-SoCal customers, we decided to proceed with customers deciding on the shop for installation, which means the shop will be charging their respective install labor cost.

Once you receive the product from us, you can go to a shop of your choice for the installation(this could be either a Unavi Dealer that can be found on our website's dealer locator or not). We will be providing technical support to the installer as necessary.
