Hello,

I recently purchased a 2019 qx30 luxe, and I noticed that my dashboard information display (the one in between the clusters) seems outdated compared to other qx30's I've seen.

The screen looks black with just white letters, no color, no design like the mercedes one whatsoever, which is something I've seen in every single qx30 I've seen

so I guess my question is, is this normal? do I have the base version? can this be upgraded?

I will try to post some pictures later on

Are you sure you didn't buy a PURE trim?

That's exactly what is looks like, and no I did buy the luxe trim.

But I guess I'm the only one with it, which is good to know lol

It's possible the dash cluster has been changed/swapped. You can purchase a used one on eBay. Just note, that vehicle mileage is typically stored in the cluster and if you swap, your milage will not be accurate.
I've also heard stories where shady sellers have swapped-out clusters to lower the vehicle's "displayed" mileage. Thankfully most states track/log the odometer mileage during annual inspections and those mileage discrepancies often show up in carfax type records.
