Hello everyone,

I am looking to buy a used car and I have found one that looks interesting. It is a 2017 Infiniti Qx30 with a 2.0L L4 DOHC 16V engine. The price is 19,787$ and the title status is Salvage. I am having a hard time deciding whether or not to purchase this car, so I was hoping you all could lend me some advice.

I am familiar with Infiniti, but I am not sure how the salvage title will affect the car. I have read that it can be more of a hassle and cost more money to insure a car with a salvage title, but I am not sure how much it will cost me in the long run. Also, I am worried that the car might not be as reliable as a car with a clean title.

I am looking for a car that I can trust and keep for a long time. I don't want to buy something and regret it later. Is this car worth the risk? What should I look for when I inspect the car? Are there any other concerns I should have?

I would really appreciate your help and advice. Please let me know what you think.

Thank you!

I wouldn't get it, especially for that price. For a few thousand more you could get a used one or even Certified Pre-Owned QX30. You also need to know what's wrong on the Salvage car before you consider purchasing it. There can be some cases where insurance could charge more or not even want to bother with the vehicle.

I wouldn't get the qx30 for many reasons, not including this one being a salvage. Our qx30(2018) lost value fast, they don't have android auto or Apple car play, we have had issues with the USB and they claim there is nothing wrong even though I proved it to them. The headlights are dim, you can't add remote start, we even tried aftermarket places and they wouldn't touch it. And it's made by Mercedes, so anything goes wrong with it, they have to call Mercedes to figure it out. That's just the beginning of my list, I can go on if you like.
