I just recently purchased a 17 QX30, I need to get an extra key for it. New to this form so don't know if this is exactly where to post this, but looking for recommendations and ideas on where I can purchase either a new or used key.

There are a few on ebay for $50ish, is there any recommendations, shpuld I stay away from them? Any dealer or service people on here with extra keys? How much are new keys from the dealer anyway?

I just found this out (curiosity) since I just received my spare key that was missing at time of sale...
A new key from the dealer.. Gulp... is $240..+ $60 to have the cut done...+ $150 to have it programmed. $450!!!
You should be able to get one (not cut) for $40-$50 on ebay and then have a locksmith program it for you for another $60-$75 ...
