Hi! I leased my QX30 in February 2017, and have had no problems, but as of a few weeks ago, the light that look like a swerving car, and the light that looks like a swerving car with "off" below it (attached in photo) have come on at random times as well as the message "inoperative see operators manual", usually when I am driving in city/stop-and-go traffic. This results in my accelerator acting strange, as I have to push harder on the gas to go forward, and when it finally starts to move it jolts ahead aggressively. Last night, the check engine light also came on which has me very worried. I plan on taking it in to the dealership tomorrow but was curious if anyone else was having this issue. Thanks!
Hello,
May 2018 I leased an Infiniti QX30, a year later the dashboard would flash then go dead, because it would happen so randomly and for a very short time I didn't do anything.
6/1/22 the car had trouble accelerating, the emergency brake, and cruise control lights came on with "inoperative" warning. After a few days at the dealer, they found nothing. A few weeks later, same issue, at this time the dealer changed a completely dead battery, the accelerator pedal connector, and did a 5 pt. inspection.
6/25/22 mid day, same acceleration problem, someone had mentioned that the type of gasoline may be the problem, possibly? Just in case I am keeping track.
6/27/22 took the vehicle to Auto Zone for a free inspection. The report showed that there is a system voltage issue. The nice person that took care of me said to look into a faulty alternator, even though the alternator passed the test, it may not pass it the moment you experience a problem. I called the dealership they said to bring the car the moment it happens again, and to leave the engine running at time of drop off, (turning the engine off clears the issue for days, in my experience.) The other issue, in combination or not with the alternator may be the auxiliary battery, mine has one.
So my plan is to replace the alternator, (still under warranty,) and to replace the auxiliary battery, if the battery is not under warranty, the cost today at the dealer is $160. plus labor.
I must add, the vehicle is driven an average of 8 miles per year, and upkeep is up to date.
Hope this adds to helping someone with QX30 issues! Lulu
