Hello guys, well as you can see a few post back I had the issue of 4wd system currently unavailable then going into limp mode and the dash lights up....... mobdro download
Well it looks like I can join this club as well! My dash has the parking issue, abs, awd errors. Good news it happened right when I left my driveway so I was able to pull back in. Any more people have the issue fixed? Seems like the ecu has been a popular fix.

Thanks for confirming. The errors you got are exactly what I’m facing. Can I ask how long ago you had the ECU replaced and how long it’s been since the errors have not returned back?
I’ll definitely mention all this when my car goes back in; and as per advice from alexmed2002 re the TPS and wiring.
Thanks
Hi Roy. Just been reading about your problem with your car from last year. I have exactly the same issue with mine. I’ve had the issue for over 12 months now .Nissan replaced the throttle pedal but that didn’t fix it. I have had them check it again and they are saying it is the throttle manifold that needs replacing now @ £1500.00. As this diagnosis hasn’t been mentioned in any of the other posts, I am a little concerned that spending this money may not fix the issue. Did you ever get to the bottom of your issue?. Thanks, John

Update

UPDATE: I went into the dealership, and they informed me a few hours later that this problem has only occurred 3-4 times in the nation, and they have yet to have found a solution. I am quite frustrated as this car has 8000 miles on it, and I am already encountering problems that do not have a solution. I also don't know how many times I'm going to have to keep going back so they can attempt to fix it over and over.
So do they make a code reader that will tell us what is wrong.?? We drove car to dealer an they checked car but once you turn car off code is gone.?? Almost impossible to drive car 50 min. Away like that.

Hi! I leased my QX30 in February 2017, and have had no problems, but as of a few weeks ago, the light that look like a swerving car, and the light that looks like a swerving car with "off" below it (attached in photo) have come on at random times as well as the message "inoperative see operators manual", usually when I am driving in city/stop-and-go traffic. This results in my accelerator acting strange, as I have to push harder on the gas to go forward, and when it finally starts to move it jolts ahead aggressively. Last night, the check engine light also came on which has me very worried. I plan on taking it in to the dealership tomorrow but was curious if anyone else was having this issue. Thanks!
Hello,

May 2018 I leased an Infiniti QX30, a year later the dashboard would flash then go dead, because it would happen so randomly and for a very short time I didn't do anything.

6/1/22 the car had trouble accelerating, the emergency brake, and cruise control lights came on with "inoperative" warning. After a few days at the dealer, they found nothing. A few weeks later, same issue, at this time the dealer changed a completely dead battery, the accelerator pedal connector, and did a 5 pt. inspection.

6/25/22 mid day, same acceleration problem, someone had mentioned that the type of gasoline may be the problem, possibly? Just in case I am keeping track.

6/27/22 took the vehicle to Auto Zone for a free inspection. The report showed that there is a system voltage issue. The nice person that took care of me said to look into a faulty alternator, even though the alternator passed the test, it may not pass it the moment you experience a problem. I called the dealership they said to bring the car the moment it happens again, and to leave the engine running at time of drop off, (turning the engine off clears the issue for days, in my experience.) The other issue, in combination or not with the alternator may be the auxiliary battery, mine has one.

So my plan is to replace the alternator, (still under warranty,) and to replace the auxiliary battery, if the battery is not under warranty, the cost today at the dealer is $160. plus labor.

I must add, the vehicle is driven an average of 8 miles per year, and upkeep is up to date.

Hope this adds to helping someone with QX30 issues! Lulu

In this way got the same situation with almost all systems were blocked also the transmission, Take off ECU to lock and found one fired contact inside (under the down port). Give to local electrical service to look - they had found none operative controller inside and ordered it. Its to upd the story of x-mass tree on dashboard.

UPD. Yeap it was really controller problem inside the ECU it was changed by soldering and it seems that everything goes fine... Third contact into the under socket of ECU also indicates the problem - its more like flash on the can-line

Hello. I also have an infiniti QX30, 2018 and just recently started having the same issue. Mine seems to happen after excessive highway driving and when the light comes on saying "inoperative" my gas pedal does not seem to work, rpm's do not move and I have to pull over, shut the car off, wait a few minutes and start it back up and usually this doesn't happen again for a couple of weeks. I brought mine into the dealership - first time they had my car 3 weeks and told me my rear differential was shot - now I was experiencing rough riding in the car and especially when making turns. Okay, so they replace my rear differential, car rides beautifully but 2 weeks later that same message comes back on! I brought it back in and they told me I need to replace my engine battery and my in cabin battery, so $700 later through my mechanic, the light comes on again, literally the day I had both batteries replaced. Then 2 weeks later it comes on again, 3 times in a very short period of time and the 3rd time my check engine light came on, which never happened any of the previous times. I was so worried. I made an appointment at the dealership but they cannot give me a loner until December7, 2022. I am now driving my boyfriends car to and from work because I drive a much longer distance to work and a lot of NJ Turnpike and parkway driving. I am so afraid that this will happen while doing 70 mph on the turnpike and I will get into an accident! What the **** is this and why can't they fix it????

Hi everyone! In 2021, this error appeared to me several times and the closer to sale of car, the more often it appeared. My father-in-law finally bought this car. Replaced the auxiliary battery with a new one. Theoretically, the problem disappeared, but after few days it happend again. In this topic someone mention about checking the ECU. It was a hit! One day he went to tighten cables and plug that are at the ECU. Didn't have to replace anything. Perhaps the problem was with a non-contacting cable or a loose plug near ECU or throttle. Check cables before replacing!

No problems for almost a year now! I hope this helps someone ;)

I had the same problem from August 2022 until about a month ago when the dealership replaced the ECM (electronic control module) and here I am 25 days later and no Inoperative message in sight. The reason I say 25 days later is because I was getting that message once every two (2) weeks, literally to the day (14 days) which I thought was a coincidence until it continued that way for 6 months and the dealership kept guessing what it could be, replacing this, that and the other until the ECM. I believe it is fixed, fingers crossed. Thank you to everyone for posting your issues with the QX30 because I was starting to feel like I was just plain crazy, LOL! Have a great day!

Dear Terence,

That is exactly what was happening to my 2018 Infiniti QX30. The dealership could not find the problem - they just kept guessing and replacing numerous parts but one of the parts finally stopped this from happening. The ECM (Electronic Control Module) had to be replaced. I had this done on or around January 17, 2023 and so far so good - no more lights and inoperative messages. When I would get that message, my gas pedal also would become very hard to press and it was like the car didn't want to go but then all of the sudden it would just blast off really fast! So, please take it to your dealership and tell them the ECM needs to be replaced! Good Luck
