So am I reading the press reports correctly...Infiniti is already discontinuing the QX30? I can't tell if they are just ceasing building them in the UK or they are not going to build them at all. Thanks Infiniti for giving me an Edsel.
Agreed, I love the car, which is why I am so disappointed.Does not diminish my love for this car whatsoever... If I didn't have Dinantronics, my love wouldn't be quite as lofty- but this car with Dinantronics is perfect for me and I plan on keeping her for a while.
Other than early issues with the aux battery and alternator change, it has been super reliable, super gorgeous, extremely fun and economical (getting 27 in city and 32 on hwy consistently)... Other than spending twice the price I paid for this, I can't think of anything else that would remotely interest me or sway me from my QX30S.
Yep. I refuse to consider the QX50 or QX60 specifically because of their CVTs. Infiniti needs to realize that there is nothing premium/luxury about a CVT and they need to stop using them.I am glad I have this transmission because I fear a CVT...
If you like hatchbacks it seems the Honda Civic and VW Golf are the two remaining holdouts worth looking at.Sad to hear these are being discontinued. I don't want anything bigger and I love having a hatchback, not a sedan.
I used to dream of a G37x Wagon (now the Q50) and I would definitely not buy a sedan or large SUV. I guess I might be headed toward something else.
I prefer awd due to a lot of snow and hills where I live. I had a BMW 325xi wagon and an Impreza hatch before this car. I might look into something not as fun, like a regular Outback. I would think about a WRX or STi, but those have a really high theft rate in the PNW.If you like hatchbacks it seems the Honda Civic and VW Golf are the two remaining holdouts worth looking at.
Honda definitely wins for reliability and price... But VW has the GTI and a DCT.
I agree I have had no problems at all I am keeping mine also great car .Does not diminish my love for this car whatsoever... If I didn't have Dinantronics, my love wouldn't be quite as lofty- but this car with Dinantronics is perfect for me and I plan on keeping her for a while.
