Just turn the efficiency mode off when driving until you replace the auxiliary battery. The battery isn’t expensive and is located under the carpet on the front passenger side under the dashboard. It’s designed to power everything when your car shuts off for fuel savings when in efficiency mode.I just purchased a 2018 QX30 about 2 weeks ago. It has 44K miles, and I received an error that said “auxiliary battery malfunction” today. I noticed my car started driving weird after, almost jerking. Is this something that’s covered under the manufacturer warranty?
The Infiniti dealership is about 30+ min from where I live, so I want to check before I drive all the way there…
If it’s not covered, does anyone know the cost?
