I'm in my '60's - basically an early '70's rocker and vintage guitar collector (and an architect by trade). Don't play professionally... Electric jams with friends or play acoustic at home - fingerstyle mainly. You?

I'm 63. I'm primarily a bass player. I have an Allman Brothers tribute band: https://www.facebook.com/allmanstepbrothers?fb_dtsg_ag=AdypCEJMiuwEYltM2b4Mre6pFxXz58ka6FdKIywFCCyvag:Adw48KEUfIaKlPXtxfgDpYsa7dzdSdUpyggTBuWuSPXPBQ
I also am rehearsing my friend's instrumentals: https://gtinkmusic.com/wordless-music
I teach guitar at two senior centers and play guitar in a little ensemble for about 20 ukulele players.
I retired from my adult school teaching position due to a bad principal, and am working part time teaching at another adult school with a terrific principal and staff. Any links?

A bass player...nice! Love the ABB. I started out on bass, played in several cover bands...used to play a lot of Allmans in the '70's.
Still consider myself a bass player, although tough to play bass without a band so been playing more 6-string. Got a few nice vintage basses..my fave is a rare, 1960 Fender Jazz (first year) originally owned by Jim Messina (Buffalo Springfield, Poco, Loggins & Messina), bought it from Messina's bass player who got it from Jim. Also have one of the early production '80's Steinberger L2 headless, composite "paddle" basses...very cool. What your gear?

I saw Poco with Messina and Furay not too many years ago. I opened for Poco in about 85 with an all original band, in San Jose.
I have an EVE IONA bass, from Scotland, a 1985 Alembic Spoiler, Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2 and 6.0 amps, two 1X12 GK Neo cabs. I also own a 67 Gibson SG I got for $200 from a band member in 78, a 75 Gibson J40 acoustic, a Carvin 750 acoustic, 71 Gibson EB3L bass, Ibanez fretless, and a Michael Kelly acoustic bass guitar, mostly for practicing at home.
Listening to The Byrds- Younger Than Yesterday, waiting for my students.
