Default Push Button Start

I just took delivery of my QX30 this past Saturday, and I love it so far, besides the InTouch App disappointment. One thing I am perplexed over is the push to start button - it seems I am either doing it wrong (pushing the button ), or there is something wrong with the function itself? I step on the brake, push the button, the engine starts, and then quietly stalls. Once, twice, sometimes 3 times. Is there a timing sequence I might be missing?

Your engine should not be stalling. Did you dealer install an aftermarket immobilizer? I hope not... Those are nothing but problems!

I would take your vehicle to the Infiniti service department and let them fix it.

Yes, there should be no stalling. Go to the dealer.

Do you have the key? See if you can pop the button out. You should find the receptacle behind the button will fit your key. If the key works fine, then the problem may be the button itself. I believe a number of owners have purchased the button asst. from Amazon, like I did.
