Default Cabin air filter replacement

I am looking for instructions for replacing the cabin air filter. I have tried a search but find most other Infiniti models but not the QX 30. Any suggestions?

Super-duper easy. No tools required. It's a 5 minute job.

Filter Part Numbers: (Pick one)

Infiniti: 272775DA2A
AC Delco: CF3348C
Mann: CUK26007
Premium Guard: PC99011C

Filter is located underneath the dash on the passenger side.
Push two tabs in, and filter door can be pulled downward:

Filter slides out:

Installation is reverse of removal.

Easy but not quite peasy. An engineering friend and I just tried to do this. Found the two clips but something in the center was keeping the panel from being pulled down. Any suggestions?

Honestly shouldn’t be difficult.

Don’t know what to tell you. This is a 1/10 on the DIY scale.

I still can't get to the cabin air filter even after studying your pics. Am I correct in assuming it is NOT inside the glove box but underneath?

Also, I see under the passenger dash the vents but I don't have a light there. I have a hole that looks like a light should fit but there isn't a cover or anything else. Also I'm not seeing the two clips you are referring to and unfortunately both youtube and the infiniti DIY manual haven't been any help this time.

Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Here are a couple photos of what I see when I pull back the carpet. Looks like I'm missing a light.
And to the far left of the second photo I think that is a junction or fuse box.

Ok! After much searching and cussing I finally got it open. I guess they left the empty hole there for a reason. You have to put your fingers in there, wiggle them around until you find the clips and then pull the outer cover down. It's a tight fit to get the old filter out and the new one in because the outer cover doesn't provide much give.

But hey, I saved about 85 bucks after buying the filter from Amazon.
