Default How will the QX30 be different from the Q30

It's hard to tell at this point how the QX30 will be different from the Q30, which we have seen in concept form. I have read that the QX30 will compete directly with the Audi Q3. Perhaps a good way to understand the difference between the Q30 and QX30 is to look at the difference between the Audi Q3 and the A3.

I thinkt he difference is going to be identical to the differences between the GLA and the A class, little more than AWD and ride height...

Yep I can see what you mean. It's almost the exact same car with a different name, and we all know how infiniti is good at playing that game.

Well this is the first time they've really done something like this. But also note that the GLA/A class is built on the jointly developed MFA platform the Q30/QX30 will make use of...

So that is a really good standard with which to measure I guess. They haven't even come out with the Q30 right now though, so I think we need to see that before we get a more clear picture of what is going on.

It seems like auto companies are really splitting hairs between models at this point.

why do we need to see Q30? I dont understand the point you're trying to make. GLA explains everything you need to know, platform, capabilities, running gear, power unit...

The starting question was how the QX30 would differ from the Q30 so I think talking about the Q30 is pertinent.

Well its not because it doesn't exist, study the GLA and you will learn everything you need to know to your hearts content.

If you're really curious you will study the GLA vs the A class as I suggested 2 weeks ago.
