Many automakers have taken the opportunity to create a virtual super car for Gran Turismo 6, and Infiniti is throwing their hat into the ring as well. We don't have the whole thing right now, but Infiniti has released a teaser to get us excited about it.
The teaser shows a silhouette that is similar to the Nissan 2020 which debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
That's about all we know right now. Infiniti has only said that the big reveal is "coming soon."
So the Infiniti Concept Vision Gran Turismo made an appearance at the Shanghai Auto Show in the flesh. Its the first time the vehicle has been seen in real life, instead of in Gran Turismo 6.
According to Infiniti, the “fluid movement and the delicate gradation of the body are inspired by traditional Chinese calligraphy and landscape paintings, while the character lines uninhibitedly flowing through the car reflects the dynamism of China.”
Check out photos below. Let me know if you'd like to see any of the design elements here make it into an Infiniti production vehicle.
Can't get enough of that carbon fiber bit coming down from the headlight down to the lower portion of the front bumper, which is close enough to what we've seen on the Q50 Eau Rouge. It shouldn't be too hard to get it even closer to the concept on a production model, just not sure which Infiniti performance models it would be more appropriate on.
