Set to go on sale in the states this September as a 2017 model, the QX30 will come in six variations.
The base front-wheel-drive model will have a MSRP of $29,950 and that doesn’t include the $995 destination charge. After that, the other five variants will see an increase in price up to $38,500 for the QX30 Sport.
No matter the trim, they’ll all come with the same 208hp turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine that’s capable of producing 258 pound-feet of torque and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
You may have thought that the sport trim would come with more power but it’s more of a sporty exterior package that includes its own special front and rear lower fascias, gloss black grille, body-color side sill panels, dark chrome exhaust, Gun Metallic painted 19-inch alloy wheels, panoramic moonroof, and the ride height has been lowered. Unlike the other trims, this one can only be ordered with front-wheel drive.
Similarly, the QX30 Luxury AWD and QX30 Premium AWD, both will be sporting unique front and rear lower fascias with extended overfenders, black side sills, roof rails, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and a more ground clearance.
For those planning on purchasing a QX30, Infiniti has an ongoing special reservation programme on their site. Future buyers will be able to choose one of five extra gifts which includes a GoPro Hero4 Silver action camera and Bose wireless headphones. Once the vehicle purchase has been completed, you should receive your chosen gift.
